The Key West Golf Club finally re-opened one of its fronts after an eight-foot storm surge brought about by Wilma, flooded the course a year ago.
The course had four feet of water on it and its irrigation ponds were filled with salt water.
The course has then switched to saltwater-tolerant paspallum-- a trend that many ocean-side courses are following.
The golf club is the southernmost golf course in the U.S that was first opened in the 1920s as a nine-hold course.
