Royal Plus makes its move into Key West-area market
Full Description:
Disaster Kleenup International, an independent property damage restoration contractor, has announced that Royal Plus, a DKI member company, has opened a branch office in Key West, Fla.
Royal Plus already had plans in place to open a small office in the Key West area that would have specialized in carpet cleaning and limited water extraction and mold remediation. However, the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma earlier this year has brought such demand for full service restoration that Royal Plus had to rent a warehouse to house the equipment needed for the restoration. Crews were brought is from Orlando and Maryland to help in the cleanup and some residents were also hired to assist Royal Plus.
With the need for continued repairs forecasted well into the future in the Keys area, last week Royal Plus signed a long-term lease for a warehouse that will support a larger operation than originally anticipated.
The Key West location will be open year-round and will provide wind, fire, water and mold remediation services as well as carpet cleaning throughout the Keys area. Shane Caseber is the Key West office manager.
In conjunction with opening the new branch, Royal Plus bought the John the Butler Carpet Cleaning.
